  If you increase your personal waste for this year by double, because you don't care environment, will this lead to natural disasters? And if yes, where? Nobody will be able to take you to the court, because it is not possible to prove a direct relation between your increased yearly waste and a drought in Africa. This does not change the fact. No doubt, you and I are responsible for the climate change, too.

There are typical views:

- Me alone, I cannot change anything, why should I then change my personal behavior?

- I respect the laws, I don't do anything illegal. I am not against your less personal waste, but leave me in peace with your ideas.

- My energy requirement is modest. I won't change before the big polluters have changed their behavior.

Of course waste is not the only reason for climate change; perfumes, waste oil, coal and factories, etc are also the reasons which come into our minds.

The expected skills our students will gain are;

- environmental awareness

- awareness about personal consumption

- own decissions about controlling personal consumption habits and raising awareness about it

- water waste reduction

- being careful about CO2 emissions

- reducing energy use

- improving language skills

- self confidence

- being active citizens about global warming

- developing online collaborative learning

- using web2 tools
